Dowtown Los Angeles - North By Northwest (in 8K)

I've been fortunate to film all over the world. But home is home. It always challenges me to look at it under a new light, from new perspectives. This is one of my favorite relaxing long form aerial shots filmed in Los Angeles, California. The helicopter path is a heading of North via a diagonal Northwest direction, hence the title which also holds a few other meanings. We had a perfect line. Near zero wind. My pilot Kevin was focused, but about half way through the shot I think we both felt something good here as we enjoyed the blue hour bathing the city in cool hues while the remaining sun lingering in the sky kissed the buildings before nightfall.

Best watched full screen, in a dark room, in 8K (even if you're on a 4K screen). Volume up is a nice touch.
