《열 개의 눈》 특별 상영 프로그램 - 〈눈이 보이지 않는 시라토리씨, 예술을 보러가다〉

부산현대미술관은 《열 개의 눈》 특별 상영 프로그램으로 3편의 영화를 상영합니다.
첫 번째 작품은 가와우치 아리오 감독의 〈눈이 보이지 않는 시라토리씨, 예술을 보러가다〉입니다.

이번 작품은 시각장애인 미술애호가 시라토리 겐지가 미술관을 순례하며 겪는 과정들을 담은 다큐멘터리로, 가와우치 감독은 ‘대화를 통해 작품을 보는 겐지씨’와 함께 2년여간 전시를 감상하며, 작품당 평균 8초를 머무는 비시각장애인에 비해 오래 머물며 작품에 관한 대화를 나누는 시각장애인의 감상법을 조명합니다.

As part of the exhibition program for 𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘦𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴, a special screening will be held at the museum’s newly created space, “Cinema Eulsuk.”
The first film in this special screening series is 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪'𝘴 𝘌𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘳𝘵, directed by Ario Kawauchi.

This documentary follows Shiratori Kenji, a visually impaired art enthusiast, as he visits various art museums. Director Kawauchi spent over two years accompanying Kenji, highlighting his unique way of experiencing art through conversation. Unlike sighted viewers who typically spend an average of 8 seconds per artwork, Kenji lingers longer and engages in in-depth discussions about each piece.
