Subnautica 2 crashing on your Nvidia GPU? Follow these steps to fix it.

*Step 1: Update Nvidia GPU Driver*

Download and install the latest Game Ready Driver from the link below:

NVIDIA - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

Restart your PC after installation.

*Step 2: Clear Nvidia Shader Cache*

Press Windows + R, type "%localappdata%" and press Enter. Open the NVIDIA folder and delete both the "DXCache" and "GLCache" folders.

*Step 3: Enable Debug Mode*

Open NVIDIA Control Panel. Click "Help" in the top menu bar and select "Debug Mode." This runs your GPU at reference clock speeds for stability.

*Step 4: Opt into Experimental Features*

Open the NVIDIA App. Click the Settings gear icon, then go to the About section. Turn on "Opt into Experimental Features" to receive early fixes.

*Step 5: Reset Any GPU Overclocks*

Return your GPU to default clock speeds. Close MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision, or any overclocking software.

*Step 6: Clean Install GPU Drivers with DDU*

If the issue persists, download Display Driver Uninstaller from TechPowerUp:

Run DDU in Safe Mode to completely remove your current Nvidia drivers. Restart your PC, then install fresh Nvidia drivers from the link in Step 1. Restart again.

Launch Subnautica 2. Crashes on your Nvidia GPU should now be resolved.
