Students with King | Interactive Civil Rights Talk with Dr. Kelisha Graves

Schools, educators, classrooms, families, children, and youth are invited to The King Center's Interactive Civil Rights Talk with Dr. Kelisha Graves on April 11th at 10:00am EST.

The Interactive Civil Rights Talk program presents inspiring conversations and panel events with civil rights leaders, community leaders, practitioners of nonviolence, educators and scholars, and everyday heroes who knew and/or worked with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mrs. Coretta Scott King. This virtual experience is aimed at engaging grades 6-12 and seeks to provide an interactive learning experience that will enhance students' knowledge about nonviolence, the American civil rights movement, and the lives, work, and legacies of Dr. King and Mrs. King. The assembly supports and contributes to leadership and positive character development objectives for middle and high school students by introducing them to key concepts related to social justice, nonviolence, and the Beloved Community.
