Comeng at Parliament - January 2021

A six car Comeng set led by 410M is seen arriving and departing Platform 3 at Parliament in Melbourne's underground City Loop. This train was announced as a Flemington Racecourse train and the destination board is helpfully showing 'Metro.' While it IS going to Flemington Racecourse, it is doing so only for the purpose of transferring passengers to replacement busses for the Craigieburn line. Typical of public information during disruptions in Melbourne, this is pretty confusing for most passengers, and there wasn't even a manual announcement to clarify the situation. Anyone who doesn't understand the situation and is looking for a Craigieburn train, will be left waiting. Filmed on Friday 15th of January 2021.
