Easter in Athens 2021, Orthodox Easter || Living in Greece

Easter in Athens in 2021 was a bit more normal this year than last year. Much of the big celebration for Orthodox Easter in Greece happens on Saturday night and there are fireworks. I made my way down to one of the larger churches near me to see what was going to happen this year. Most people were standing outside due to the restrictions. However, there was a large crowd by the time I left. The fireworks did happen and went on for hours. Normally they would have started at midnight when the Resurrection service would normally happen.
