SEDONA, Az, Sedona Schnebly's Story

Anybody who lives in the USA (or from all around the world) wants to visit Sedona, Arizona, to see magnificent Red Rocks painted by time and located with Oak Creek babbling through it. The family of Sedona Schnebly still lives in Arizona and continues to tell the story of Pioneer Woman, Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly, who is the namesake of the (now bustling city) of Sedona. Back in 1902, Sedona Schnebly and her husband were one of the few families that resided in what is now Sedona. This story of what they did to live in those days, the hard work, hardship is told through Sedona's Great Granddaughter in her book, The Journal of Sedona Schnebly Meet Lisa Schnebly Heidinger in this video and learn about the name Sedona and life in pioneer days, but this video is only an abbreviated presentation - the book is compelling and so well written. It is available on Amazon (Kindle as well). The second part of the video takes you to a brief visit at the Sedona Heritage Museum, originally a big cattle town, Sedona transformed into a movie set for wildly popular Western Films - all the major studio stars back in 1940's and 1950's were in Sedona making movies, and started the movie interest with Zane Grey's movie and book, Call of the Canyon. Enjoy!
