Woodpeckers Fall In Love

Here’s how these two LOVE BIRDS met.

In the Woods, I saw Woody Woodpecker, pecking like a pro.
I called him over to appreciate his hairdo and it’s vibrant glow.
Woody then told me, with a sigh,
That he was single, and wondered why,
I then promised to be his wingman,
And help find him love, the best I can.
At first I found him a chick-a-dee,
but they didn’t click, It wasn’t meant to be.
Then a nuthatch came round, but a secret I was told,
Around the corner, a better match would unfold.
High in a tree, Winnie The Woodpecker came into view,
With feathers so gorgeous and adorable legs too!
Winnie swooped down, capturing Woody's heart,
Their love story blossomed, with a beautiful start.
Woody wasted no time pecking their initials into a tree,
sealing their love in bark for eternity
But beyond this tale, a greater possibility prevails,
In our potential to adore nature! Where the beauty never fails.
