Ryobi zero turn electric mower overview electric mower ry48ztr75 / zt480e / 75ah 100ah

I could not find anything on this mower online so I went ahead and bought it and did this video and try describing everything that I was wondering from unpacking to operating. There are only two Ryobi zero-turn electric mowers available the 75ah or the 100ah that were released sometime around February 2019. They are the exact same mower the only difference is the size of the battery. You can upgrade to a larger battery by removing a spacer and inserting the newer larger battery. Other than that the entire mower is exactly the same and both 42in mowing deck. I have 1/2 acre of grass and I have the 75 a h which is the smaller of The 2 mowers. Off a full 100% charge I mowed my entire yard with many obstacles mostly flat put a few small hills and they cut the front half of my yard in the low speed run and low speed blades which turned out great in the backyard I did it on high speed and high blades and it clumped up a lot so I did the backyard a second time on low speed and high blades when I was finished I had 50% battery life left. There were many areas that were easier to mow then my 42in gas riding mower like narrow spots because of the shorter wheelbase I guess or maybe the way it turns instead of having front wheels that turn. Only thing that was harder where areas that I used to back up into and then pull forward to get out. With this zero-turn after backing up the front wheels have to spin around which digs up the grass. When doing a tight turn you must work the drive Wheels 2 help the front wheels rotate without tearing up the grass which is not that hard when you have the room to do it. It was also easier to drive over puddle of water where my yard meets the street it seemed to not go into the water whereas my gas riding mowers blades would hit the water. I just got this electric zero turn and it has only been in the market for 3 months I really like it and have no complaints except there are no armrest. Time will tell hopefully it will last a long time
