Gigabyte TRX40 Designare Problems and Solutions Deep Dive with Endoscope OtoScope

Everything was fine until we decided to do a Tinker Install. What do we mean by that? We thought about adding a 2nd Titan Ridge Thunderbolt card. Why? We had been asked about that some time ago with the Gigabyte x399 Motherboards we Built. Bad idea. No go! The Gigabyte Titan Ridge 1.0 Thunderbolt card included with this Motherboard works. The Gigabyte Titan Ridge 1.0 Thunderbolt card Retail box does not. Why? All we know is when the USB 2.0 Header is Connected, the Motherboard will not Boot! And Windows became corrupted. The chain of events was a Progression of 1-2-3-4. Most Users will never encounter some of this. Some Users will encounter some of this. We hope this will provide insight on our hindsight. Problems and Solutions! That's how we Learn By Doing, when things don't go as expected! All in all, it was an interesting path to Discovery. No Spoilers!

The Gigabyte Titan Ridge 2.0 Thunderbolt card Retail box is now available. And we will be taking a look! Probably on the x399. Plus the Samsung 980 Pro 1TB is now out! Yes, we're working up to that too!
