*General Notes / TL;DR*:
Great shave today. I've been talking to someone online about the Game Changer, so I had to whip out my .84 and shave up.

Today also, I tried out the silicone nubs bowl like what Stirling has started selling.

The short: I didn't like it. I think I'd rather use a plain soup bowl if I had to choose.

The details after my first impression:

* The nubs do speed up lather making .... some.
* I felt drag on the brush. Very noticeable. Did it come from friction, or from just pushing through the flexing of the bristles? I don't know, but if the former, then I don't want that friction on my brush hairs. And if the latter, it's just much more of a manual chore than without this bowl.
* I would not want to use it on anything more than my smallest brushes.
* For a person who, like me, adds water while in the bowl to make the whole batch of lather for 3 passes, it is too small. Maybe someone who just makes a concentrate, and adds water outside the bowl, would be okay.
* I can't help but think that, since some nubs are quite tall, that there would be some bristle twisting that would be detrimental to brush knot health. And if the drag I felt was due to friction, that would make this issue even more detrimental.

Is it better than face lathering? I don't know. For me, maybe not. (and that's saying a lot)

What a good combo! Enjoyed the shave and had great closeness. This may be the more aggressive plate for the GC, but it's not aggressive for me.

Almost smooth, nice and consistent. I felt the blade, but it was not a sharp feeling, though it cut very well.

*Soap Notes* - Declaration Grooming Milksteak - Puzzle 2019:
Scent: Puzzle is part of a contest, so I won't be sharing scent notes until later.

Scent Strength: 5/10, nicely present during shaving.

Lather: Experimenting with the nubby silicone bowl and ended up getting it a little too wet, but still very workable.

Hydration: A Little Too Wet (for me)

* 40 sec load with a Lightly-Wet brush
* 3.5 tsp added to make lather
* = 5 passes of lather

Must more usable than my other Omegas, but a little too much splay. I think this guy likes thicker lathers.

**Shave Quality**
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Almost Smooth
Neck: Almost Smooth
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Cut flush to where I just see the tips (above average for me)
