Pete Alonso Goes OFF - MLB The Show 24 Colorado Rockies Rebuild Franchise - Ep. 16

Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I take on the task of rebuilding the Colorado Rockies here on MLB The Show 24.

In this episode, we pick up following an Opening Day victory to start Year 2 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. We'll start with a quick manage game as we conclude the two-game set to start the year. We'll then simulate ahead a good bit as we work through and towards the end of April. The Rockies start the year with some great play including a four-game sweep against the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, the rest of the episode wouldn't be as smooth.

Following a 5-1 start, the Rockies begin to show their true colors as a team still in the full midst of a rebuild. We'll get in a Player Lock game with Pete Alonso as the beginning of his tenure in Colorado hasn't been so pleasant. Then we'll jump into a key moment against the Philadelphia Phillies as we force extra innings after a clutch RBI double from Elehuris Montero against Jose Alvarado. Would the Rockies be able to snap a HUGE losing streak in extra innings?

In the next episode, we'll get through the remaining sliver of April as we start to really work into this Year 2 season. We'll get in a full game in the next episode as we'll face division rival San Francisco Giants who we look to leapfrog from the bottom in the NL West standings this season.
