World-Aligned Textures - UE4 Materials 101 - Episode 22

In this episode, we create a material that uses world-aligned textures in Unreal Engine 4's Material Editor. This material blends two sets of textures together using procedural noise. The material is intended to be used on modular rock and cave assets. Because each texture set tiles at a different rate from the modular meshes, and because they're blended with the procedural noise, the seams between the assets are hidden and the resulting cave systems look like one continuous rock formation. Cool!
