We take a look at the Nice 1956 Ford Fairlane Engine that was refreshed at Last Chance Auto Restore.

The engine was leaking oil around the front and rear seals and other dry gaskets . It did not seem to have the power you would expect from a "Y Block" Ford Engine.

The heads were rebuilt and upgraded, new seals and gaskets were installed.

Upgraded the distributer to an electronic set up, sandblasted and powder coated numerous pieces.

The car now has more power, runs smoother and looks much nicer than before!

The standard non power front drums were replaced with a nice Power Front Disc Brake conversion kit. Stops great now!
