How often do you have a global cultural phenomenon that features classical music so prominently, and also so poignantly? Having grown up in the classical world, I loved seeing the way "Squid Game" used classical music to set an ironic in-universe backdrop to violent scenes and comment on the darkness of the elite class, all while serving as an insanely catchy and entertaining soundtrack. This music has so much potential to be used in interesting and progressive ways, and that's something I was really happy to see in the show. Naturally, I had to bring back my twin for another collaboration. Didn't realize this music would be so difficult to perform — guess I just need to practice more!
