Across the country, the BJP has completed constructing plush new party offices in several districts, and many more are under construction. These offices are equipped with video conferencing facilities, facilities for boarding and lodging and meeting halls. Party workers at some of the offices we visited say they don't have any information about the cost incurred in their construction. While the lack of transparency in political funding has remained a cause for concern in India, shouldn't the BJP declare the cost of office constructions on such a large scale and the source of funds?
