'Good health, more blessings': 81-year-old devotee braves crowds, distance for Jesus Nazareno | ANC

Millions of devotees once again fill the streets of Manila for the annual Feast of the Jesus Nazareno, one of the country’s largest Catholic devotions. Authorities are expecting around 8 million devotees to participate in the procession Friday. From the Quirino Grandstand, the image of Jesus Nazareno will be brought to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, known as Quiapo Church. The procession usually takes hours, with last year's Traslacion lasting almost 21 hours.
