Game of Thrones Season 8 | "The Long Night" Review/Discussion

Today we discuss our thoughts on episode three of season 8 of Game of Thrones, 'The Long Night'.

We casually muse and dissect entertainment malarkey in as thoughtful a way as is feasibly possible for a couple of corns.

First of all, we should let you know that there will obviously be Spoilers for the episode, with potential book spoilers thrown in, too.

If you’re new to our channel, which, quite frankly, if you’re listening to and watching this at all, unless you’re one of our family members, you almost certainly are, just a quick point that we like to really dig in and get our hands dirty where critique is concerned, so if you don’t want your Game of Thrones hype levels tempered, we advise that you back away now.

The two of us have been long-time Game of Thrones fans, but we’re both in agreement that the show has suffered a decline in writing quality over the last few seasons; we already went through our pre-season 8 thoughts in two earlier videos, which we’ll link to below.

We may have some slightly controversial and harsh views on the show that don’t align with mainstream media. We don’t claim to know better than anyone else, so please bear in mind that we’re just expressing our views in a truthful and thoughtful way. If you disagree, please feel free to tell us why in the comments.
