"Peter the great" Kirov Nuclear Missile Cruiser

Pyotr Veliky (Пётр Великий) is a heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser (TARKR), the fourth Kirov class battlecruiser of the Russian Navy, originally named Yuri Andropov (Юрий Андропов). Although the ship is not a battlecruiser by the traditional definition of the type, but a missile cruiser (official: "Heavy Rocket Cruiser"), its size has given it the unofficial designation of a battlecruiser in the mass media of many countries. Pyotr Veliky is the flagship of the Northern Fleet. This heavy cruiser is designed to sink aircraft carriers.
