The Ukrainian Armed Forces massively attacked Russia with drones and unmanned boats on the night of June 21. First, they launched 117 UAVs across southern Russia, with arrivals recorded in Kuban and Crimea. As a result, an oil refinery, a bus station, and a boiler room were damaged. In the morning, a new attack was launched from the territory of Ukraine, this time in the Belgorod region. The Yeysk, Temryuk, and Seversky districts of Russia’s Krasnodar Krai reportedly came under attack by Ukrainian drones.
The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, worked on the "Shakhediv" launch site and three refineries in the Krasnodar Territory. The monitoring group "Crimean Wind" announced that several fires were recorded at the airfield in Yeysk. In particular, the fires were in the area of the airfield buildings, their purpose is unknown.
The strongest consequences of the attack were felt in the Krasnodar region. First of all, the Kuban operational headquarters spoke about the emergency in the resort village of Volna, Temryuk district. People were evacuated, but there were no casualties.
Residents of the Yeisk district heard a roar and many also complained about problems with the light. According to official data, there were no casualties among the civilian population, and there was no destruction of civilian infrastructure. The authorities did not provide details about the military personnel.
The Operational Headquarters later reported that a drone crash caused a fire at the Ilsky oil refinery near Krasnodar.
It was more active in the Seversky district. The first messages from residents began to arrive from Novodmitrievskaya counted 25 explosions. The drones were shot down in the village of Afipskoye, there were no casualties there. But in Ilsky, on the territory of the oil refinery, a fire with an area of 50 square meters started due to the attack.
The Takhtamukai district of the Republic of Adygea was attacked by drones. Adygea has been the target of drone attacks more than once since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. The day before, an oil depot in the village of Enem was attacked , a fire started there, and it was put out. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announces the interception of more than 100 drones. In particular, 70 UAVs were allegedly intercepted over occupied Crimea and the waters of the Black Sea, and another 43 - in the Volgograd region. It is also claimed that six unmanned boats of the Navy of Ukraine were destroyed. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have not officially commented on the alleged downing of drones in Crimea.
