Larry Russell and The Beatles Reunion at Friar Park June 23rd 1994

On 2/2/07, Larry Russell was inspired by this Beatles jam session from 1994 he found on YouTube. While listening to it, he realized there was no bass player and the sound needed more depth.
So he whipped out his Hofner Bass guitar, recorded and mixed in his sound that many feel completes this historic jam session.

After Larry sent me the audio file he recorded adding in his bass, I loved it so much that I thought the world should hear it and asked Larry if he would mind if I married his audio mix to the original video content and share it out. He agreed and this video is the final product. Original video and audio content credit goes out to Paul, George and Ringo and their team for capturing the original moment back in 1994.

A little bit about Larry:
Larry Russell began his career as a drummer in the 1960's after being inspired by Ringo Starr and The Beatles. Larry performed with a local NY area band called Age of Reason and was signed to United Artist Records at age 16. In 1969, he grew a passion for and started playing bass guitar and was professionally gigging on bass a year later. Then in 1971, Larry was hired as the first member to form Billy Joel's touring band to promote Billy's debut album Cold Spring Harbor. Larry performed over 60 shows with Billy and went on to play bass in the musical Godspell for a while and then performed with other musicians including the Mamas and the Pappas, Elliott Murphy, Gary U.S. Bonds, Bryan Adams, and more. Currently, Larry is a music producer doing what he loves best, making music.
