How to Easily Breed Glowlight Tetras Using the Jar Method.

Hello everyone, in this video, I will share with you the simple process of breeding Glowlight Tetra (also known as Hemigrammus erythrozonus). As I expected, breeding Glowlight Tetra is straightforward. I used the same method, the jar method, as I did when breeding Neon Tetra, so I won't go into much detail about the setup of the breeding jar in this video. Glowlight Tetra is a widely available fish, and I purchased mature individuals online that were ready for breeding, eliminating the need to condition them further. These tetras are hardy and not picky eaters, making them easy to care for. The breeding process itself doesn't have any significant difficulties, and they don't require specific water conditions. Regular tap water is usually sufficient. I used water from a local stream with a pH around 7 and a GH of 0, which is suitable for tetra breeding. The temperature range of 25-28°C is generally suitable.
The key is to be persistent and make multiple attempts. They may not spawn on the first try, but with each subsequent attempt, the results improve. As for raising the Glowlight Tetra fry, the method is similar to that of Neon Tetra. You can refer to this video for more information:

另外这种灯鱼非常普遍，我在网上直接买了成熟的，随时能用来繁殖的亲鱼，所以也省去了养肥他们的这个步奏。因为这个红灯管鱼是一种很皮实的鱼，他们不挑食，非常容易饲养。
繁殖也没有特别的难点，对水质没有特殊要求，一般新水就可以。我这里是用的本地小溪的水， PH是7左右，GH我们这里都是0,非常适合灯鱼的繁殖。温度一般25-28℃都行。
关键在于我们需要多次尝试。第一次它们可能不会产卵，但是经过3次后，结果一次比一次好。
