Raw Coconut Ice Cream
There are a few different ways to make coconut ice cream and my favorite is the one we make with fresh coconut.
The fresh cream that comes from the coconut is the basic ingredient and you only need to sweeten it up a little, a delicious ice cream with few ingredients!
Ingredients for 1 liter
4 coconuts, 150gr sweetened condensed milk, and a pinch of salt.
You can replace the milk for sugar (coconut flower sugar) if you are a vegan
You need ripe coconuts that have a good amount of water inside
You need some of the water to liquefy the extracted cream a little.
To make this ice cream without the ice cream maker, follow these steps:
Fill a container with the coconut preparation and place in the freezer for ½ an hour
Whisk the preparation for a minute or two and replace in the freezer again for ½ an hour
Repeat this for 3 to 4 times (until the cream thickens) and keep it in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours.
