Northern Kentucky family declines $26 million bid as data center plans advance

A woman and her mother in Northern Kentucky just turned down a $26 million offer for their property because they don't want to see a data center built there.

Ida Huddleston and her children own 1,200 acres of rich farmland just outside of Maysville, Kentucky. Last April, they were approached by an unnamed company that wanted to buy about half of it in order to build a data center, replacing all their cows with computers: https://tinyurl.com/2k2admke
