How to Motivate your Team
The best way how to lead your team is to lead by example. You will motivate the right people when you get into action and lead the way by building and recruiting successfully yourself. As the old saying goes, you don't motivate people you simply find motivated ones. You shouldn't focus your time trying to pump up reps who are never going to do anything, you should be focused on bringing in new people and finding those that are motivated. Obviously you don't ignore the people in your team that aren't doing action steps, you simply encourage that they go to training and work on themselves so they can build their skills and belief in themselves. If they eventually build up the belief that they can too succeed, they will eventually start to take action as well. You are best served as being an inspiration to your team not simply trying to motivate them.
