Alan Bates says 'harm and injustice' inspired his Post Office Horizon scandal campaigning

Once he saw the 'harm and injustice' to people working in the Post Office, Alan Bates had to dedicate part of his life to campaigning about the Horizon IT scandal, he told an inquiry.

Bates, a former post office operator, was played by the actor Toby Jones in the ITV hit drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office, which portrayed the victims’ fight for justice.
