Which is more dangerous AC or DC ?

In general, Alternating Current (AC) is considered more dangerous than Direct Current (DC) at standard household voltage levels. While both can be lethal, the primary hazards of each are summarized below:
Why AC is Considered More Dangerous
Heart Rhythm Interference: The 50–60 Hz frequency of standard AC is close to the frequency of the heart’s natural electrical pulses. Exposure to AC is highly likely to cause ventricular fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm that is often fatal if not treated immediately.
Muscle Tetany (The "Freeze" Effect): AC causes rapid, continuous muscle contractions. This can cause a victim’s hand to "lock" onto a wire, preventing them from letting go and increasing the duration of exposure.
Lower Lethal Threshold: It takes significantly less AC to cause harm. For example, roughly 30–50 mA of AC can cause heart failure, whereas it may take upwards of 300–500 mA of DC to have a similar effect.
Skin Impedance: The human body acts somewhat like a capacitor; the changing nature of AC allows it to pass through the skin more easily than DC by lowering the skin's electrical resistance.
