Snatched From Vanity: Why God told me to stop wearing makeup & hair extensions.

This video was recorded at the end of May 2019 during my time of living in Antigua. You would not believe the amount of spiritual attack on my life that had went forward from there! From my computer crashing to no longer having access to my video editor and beyond...the devil has been busy BUT Nevertheless God has been faithful to me and to the promise. I could not let this month go by and not finally post this testimony. This is an UNPOPULAR testimony because after all what woman or man wants to be told they shouldn’t do something that they absolutely love? Galatians 2:20 is very clear : “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” My brothers and sisters dying to the flesh is not easy but it necessary for us to obtain eternal life. Going against the status quo and walking in righteousness and holiness in a world that does not accept it is very hard. Know that God will honor your walk. He will honor your obedience to His commands. Don’t worry about your age. The Bible declares “But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬. No matter the cost, do what the Lord has called you to do!

Why is my head covered?

“But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved. For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.” ‭1 Corinthians ‭11:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
*Some May argue that this covering is a metaphor for leadership/spouse, etc. covering you in prayer but I believe it is an actual covering and I will keep my head covered in my testimony/spirit led videos.

Please excuse the lighting changes, I had to stop and record several times (I’m still a mom of 4 and a wife so life happens often lol)

Remember I am no better than you and I am in no ways perfect. There are times I still struggle, but we can all get to our place of righteousness if we continue on the path of obedience to where God is moving us. Be blessed and thanks for watching 🙏🏾❤️

**Just as a disclaimer men can also struggle with vanity as well. Vanity is not only a female issue. Men can be self absorbed with their image as well, posting constantly images of their shoes, clothing, bodies etc. We will all have to make an account on what we did here on earth. The best thing to do is to pray God will open all of our eyes. 🙏🏾
