A Manhattan Beach PD motor officer was struck on the freeway.
Numerous police agencies responded to reports of an officer down.
Video shows life-saving measures being performed by paramedics and firefighters at the scene, and the officer was taken to the hospital.
The officer was later pronounced dead.
