Little Richard!! (Live TV)

One of the greatest natural born entertainers in the entire world Mr. Richard Wayne Penniman, known more famously to the world as Little Richard starting recording in 1951 but did not have any major success until around 1955. It was then at the suggestion of Lloyd Price that he began recording for Art Rupe's Specialty Record label. With hits like Tutti Fruitti, Rip It Up, Good Golly Miss Molly, Send Me Some Lovin' and Slippin' And Slidin' Richard caused quite a stir in the music world and proved to be a force that would not be kept down. His influence as a performer/singer/writer/instrumentalist could never be understated. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Everley Brothers, Jimi Hendrix are a few among the many who benefited from his all-out style.

Here he is seen performing in 1974 on the awesome pioneering music performance variety show, Midnight Special co-hosting w/ Wolfman Jack who sits down and does an interview with him. I have segued the performances, which may not be in the order that they actually were shown but were how I felt that they worked the best. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy it to the end!
