Mr. Nana Bompeh Sangmuah brings 30 years of international experience in the mining sector, providing strong leadership and deep expertise in mineral exploration and capital markets to Roscan Gold. Prior to joining Roscan, he served as Managing Director, Equity Research – Metals and Mining at Clarus Securities Inc., where he played a key role in establishing the firm as a leading mining-focused financial institution.
During his tenure, he helped attract significant institutional investment into several prominent West
African mining companies, including Endeavour Mining, SEMAFO, Asanko, Cardinal Resources, Perseus Mining, and Golden Star Resources, while also increasing the firm’s mining capital markets profile and trading activity. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sangmuah held equity research roles at Haywood Securities and Stifel Financial. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mining Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
