In a previous video, we talked about situationships and why they are often a terrible idea… If you remember, a situationship is basically a pseudo relationship… it’s an almost relationship.. You’re seeing a person regularly, doing things that couples do, including physical intimacy but there is no talk of commitment, relationship, exclusivity, or future goals. And this just continues…. Lasting for months and even years.
And as I’ve said before, It’s okay to be in a situationship, if that’s what you want at the moment. Nothing is wrong with enjoying someone’s company and taking things slowly until you want to give them more. But often times, women find themselves in a situationship… but really want to be in a committed relationship. And if you spend enough time together, the “what are we” conversation Inevitably comes up and is met with.. I don’t want to be in a relationship… I don’t want a commitment at this time, why do we need labels… ya know.. you’ve probably heard all of the excuses, right. So now what… you like this person and you have a great time together, you’re acting like a couple, but they don’t want a commitment? What do you do? How can you get your man to commit.
