Hey, Lovelies! Welcome to the first video in my 2021 Motherhood May series! Today we are kicking off this month of motherhood themed videos with the time of the day where I am reminded most that I am a mom-- the MORNING! Anyone else have hot-mess mornings? I've learned a few things recently that have really helped my mornings go more smoothly and have lead to more peace and patience as I start my day. In today's video I'm sharing with you my minimalist morning routine complete with mom life moments, quiet time, self care and a fun instant oatmeal recipe that my kids can make for themselves (hooray for small mercies!)

Instant oats recipe:

I just mixed together about 4 cups of minute oats, 3 scoops chocolate protein powder, a handful of mini chocolate chips and few dashes of cinnamon. Store in an airtight container and add to a bowl with boiling water when ready to serve.
