A Players Perspective-West Bend West vs Waukesha North Football *2020*

During the film session the coach came up to me and said, “you didn’t throw a punch” And I asked back, “are you mad at me still?” Coach didn’t respond to that question. I just thought I had a really bad call. To me that cis a soft/weak call. So in high school hockey you can double flip off people, chirp each other really bad in front of the ref, have a long scrum after a play. But in high school football you can’t do anything apparently. It was frustrating getting benched from that. But it is what it is. I’ll move on from this. We were scheduled to play Whitefish Bay at home. But the game got cancelled due to Covid outbreaks at Whitefish Bay. Same thing happened to Waukesha North. So 3 hours before the game we found out about the news. Waukesha North is part of the Elite 8 conference. Which is one of the best conferences in high school football in the state of Wisconsin. Waukesha North is a D1 football team. And West Bend West is a D2 football team. Close game though. West Bend West has not scored this many points in a game in about a decade (10 years).
