Ways to live forever - Mimi

Hello Friends,

„Ways to live forever“ is not only the title track of my Debut EP, it is also one of the first songs I ever wrote. I was growing up and everything was moving way to fast for my liking, so I wrote this song about wanting to capture every second, every memory. I recorded and filmed this version on my summer holiday in Sweden last year.
Releasing my first EP as a Solo-Artist feels big. It feels like I’m bearing my soul to the world, like I’m publicly reading my diary entries, like I’m standing on a Stage, completely naked. And I love it. All of these songs mean so much to me and being able to share them with you all is such a blessing.

I am forever grateful for Cecelia Ribbeck and Nick Hermann, with whom I recorded these 5 songs. Ceci and Nick aren’t only incredibly talented and skilled musicians, they are also amongst the kindest people I know. Recording music makes you vulnerable but I felt super safe and warm and well taken care of with these two. They perfectly understood my visions with these tracks and added their own magic to them. Thank you thank you thank you.

Another huge thank you to Chris Groß, who mastered these songs beautifully (and is responsible for 4 of these 5 cover pictures!). Thank you for everything.
