Dehydrating Figs

My Sister in-law had a big bush of figs she could not reach and already had enough to dry for her own needs, so she asked it I wanted them. Heck, yea. So now I am set for the winter months with a delirious treat.
I started out too low on my heat setting, from 125 and moved it up to 142 after discovering the figs were not drying. After 48 hours the figs were dry enough and still able to bend them for a nicer eat.

Now that I am retired, I just might show my life and some of the towns around me. I enjoy working on Cuckoo Clocks and clocks in general, How to repair vacuums, fans and things form the thrift stores, besides the thrift store finds, and working on houses. Time Lapse, Bird & Sky watching along with gardening. Helping my Dad with things he loved to do, along with taking dad and his wife to breakfast.
My Brother and Dad, live on the same Dead End Road and yea, maybe we just might get into trouble a little, but have fun doing it. It is time to start smelling the Roses on the way instead of looking at them and passing them by.
