1. Monopod was mounted on top bar of bike, sticking horizontally forward over the front wheel, rigid with the bike frame
2. camera was mounted on monopod
3. camera was switched on
4. record button was pressed
5. camera began recording at 44fps
6. while riding there was significant vibration of the camera, especially when riding over cobblestones. care was taken not to shake the camera violently (the resulting video turned out less shaky than anticipated, actually, although no stabilization was done)
7. after recording, camera was plugged into the computer via the USB port. the raw files were copied from the camera to the laptop hard disk.
8. the raw files (100GB for around 15 minutes) were converted to files that work with Sphericam stitching software
9. control points were applied and the panorama optimized.
10. colors were adjusted
11. output video was rendered, including 3840x1920 (for GearVR) and 4096x2048 (for youtube) at both 44fps and 30fps (slightly slow motion)
We have noticed that when an "infinity stitch" is made with a camera, it works very well in subsequent shots with additional control points/optimization needed only for very different types of scenes.
