'Straddling the Divide - The Great Divide Trail' - Dave Hockey

Presented on March 8, 2016 as part of the Winter Speaker Series: Footprints on the Landscape. The series is produced as a partnership between Alberta Parks, Pincher Creek & District Municipal Library, and Chinook Arch Regional Library System, and screened live across the province of Alberta via the RISE Network.

The Great Divide Trail traverses the continental divide between Alberta and British Columbia, wandering through the Rocky Mountains for more than 1200 kilometres. It is not officially signed and not always even an actual trail, sometimes merely a wilderness route, inspiring modern adventures.
