Shchedryk is a New Years Carol from Ukraine written by Mykola Leontovich. Peter Wilhousky introduced to to American choirs by composing text about bells at Christmas. John is playing it in the Ukrainian form, which only has three measures in the tenor at the end and does not have the basses singing "bom" at the end. The Ukrainian version ends with the sopranos and altos singing "Lastivochka." John Carter combined and "synced" the twelve videos together. Playing the bell parts accurately was very difficult, but I found it even more difficult bow tying that little tassel on the shirt.
