Beowulf in Old English

I read for an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic at Cambridge, and then completed my PhD at Cornell in Medieval Studies, focusing on Old English, Old Norse, and Middle High German heroic literature and Germanic Philology. It's a pleasure to return to some Old English language here. This video presents the first 25 lines of Beowulf read overtop of the original manuscript.
