SuperMotocross' five big stories to follow in 2025 | Vital MX Post-Race Show

With the SMX World Championship postseason races sat on the horizon, Lewis Phillips and Michael Lindsay of Vital MX take an hour to look ahead to what the rounds have in store. Jett Lawrence (Honda HRC Progressive) and Haiden Deegan (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) are positioned to defend their respective crowns.

Justin Cooper (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing) leads the 450SMX field into Charlotte Motor Speedway – the top seed will benefit from an advantage of three points. Lawrence is the second seed. Deegan, in contrast, is the top seed in 250SMX. Jo Shimoda (Honda HRC Progressive) is the greatest threat to the reigning champ and moves into the postseason in the runner-up position.
