Give a hand to IDDS Colombia

The International Development Design Summit (IDDS) Colombia 2018: New Coastal Territories is a community experience that brings together people from all over the world to work shoulder-by-shoulder with members of local communities. We are strong believers in co-creation and hands-on work.

Our mission is to augment new technology-based solutions to local challenges. The summit will be hosted in the Atlantic region of Colombia from July 15 to July 30, 2018. This year our family is composed of amphibious communities living in the ocean, indigenous communities, fishermen and professionals, activists and students from all over the world. During these two weeks, we will work day and night to tackle some of the toughest challenges we have identified together and co-create 10 hardware and/or service working prototypes while augmenting the inherent local creativity and skills for building technology.
