UVA Radiology 2024 Tegtmeyer Lecture – Embracing Planetary Health in Healthcare
On Thursday, March 14, UVA Radiology & Medical Imaging presented the 15th Annual Tegtmeyer Lecture, titled: “From Bedside to Biosphere: Embracing Planetary Health in Healthcare.”
The talk was delivered by Reed A. Omary, MD, MS, the Carol D. and Henry P. Pendergrass Professor of Radiology & Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Omary is an alumnus of the University of Virginia’s diagnostic radiology residency, who also completed his master’s degree in epidemiology at UVA.
