The 1997 European Grand Prix was a race of tension, excitement and controversy. While Jacques Villeneuve had taken the title, a certain German had grabbed all the headlines. Mika Hakkinen had taken his first win and two team principals and one driver were hauled before the courts following.

So- grab a drink, kick back and relax as I tell the full story of one of the most controversial season endings ever. The best part is: I was there... Watching it at home... But it counts...
