Could be a promotional film for the City of Manchester especially the importance of The Manchester Evening News and its influence on the City and surrounding areas.
The opening scenes of the busy City of Manchester and recording the opinions of the local people living in Manchester. Half a million people live there and 2million within a 10mile radius. A City full of history.

King Cotton has now been replaced by many other industries. City centre now dominated by the Banks and Insurance Companies
