Constructed by the Kharkov Tractor Plant (HTZ) and the Stalingrad Tractor Plant (STZ) starting in July 1941. Used in the defense of Kharkov , Leningrad , Poltava and Bryansk Frontline as a whole between 1941 and 1942. They were usually paired with T-26 light tanks and T-27 tankettes. SU-S2 Chelyabinsk Tractor Tank - Constructed by the Chelyabinsk Tractor Factory Motor Plant No. 75 from the city of Kharkov in 1941. Only one prototype was made before the plant was stripped down and transported east, away from the advancing german lead forces.
