The Northern Independence Party was created in October 2020 and wants to create an independent nation of 'Northumbria' that would secede from the United Kingdom. This video is not a political endorsement of the party or their message, but rather a look at some of their claims regarding the Northumbrian history and identity, as well as addressing the North-South divide which is one of their main raisons d'être.
