Has this ever happened to you or another seller you know?
You or a seller you know chose your Amazon product by going to Alibaba and sending some emails to suppliers to see what the MOQs and Cost of Goods are, and you never asked about getting lower prices during the process assuming that you were getting the best price the factory could offer.
The reality, is that the factory is very used to negotiating, and you were given the highest price that they would "start" negotiating at...you just decided to agree to that price without questioning it.
Now you sell the product, and you find it hard to compete with other sellers because they are selling at a much lower price than you.
So, you try to lower your price to be competitive, but your profitability is much lower than you wanted it to be when you first researched the product.
The lack of profit and lack of sales means that your product is now hurting your cash flow, and your money is tied up with your current product.
Even when you do get the product selling, your low profit and cash flow make it hard to reorder the product.
This means you may run out of stock and lose your keyword ranking and sales momentum.
This, in turns, means you have to do a hard relaunch and spend more money on ads then expected when you finally do get the product back in stock (not to mention you probably have to send your reorder in via air freight instead of sea freight).
Then you get overwhelmed and frustrated because the product doesn't sell as well as it used to, and your cash flow is completely hindered.
BUT, you never realized that you were setting yourself up for failure from the start.
In this series of short videos, I want you to be able to see the top reasons why an Amazon business can fail, and the idea is that the more you know about these issues, the more you are aware of them, and take action to avoid as many as possible so you can have a healthy sustainable business for years to come.

The Amazon FBA, Private Label business model has been a very successful model for myself and hundreds of clients that I have worked with since 2013, but it is not always easy.
There are definitely some problems and hurdles that you have to overcome, and this is not a "set it and forget it" business. Nor is it a "get rich quick" business.
It takes hard work, great execution, patience, and a capital investment to move the needle towards success.
Disclaimer - As is necessary, I never make any income guarantees nor will I ever tell you that you WILL make money. This is a real business model, and every business has risk. If you are risk adverse, please do not start a business. They are by nature risky. Any results I ever share about my clients are real results and can be confirmed. It also means that they put in the hard work to make good things happen for themselves and their business.
