SDG 7: Clean and Affordable Energy – A World Engineering Day Special

In honour of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, Dar held an in-house panel on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 7: Clean and Affordable Energy. The panel brought together three of Dar's electrical engineers and renewable energy specialists to discuss their experiences on the ground in developing countries and how engineers can support the global effort to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
On the agenda:

• Balancing cost and quality on large-scale electrification ventures.
• Delivering power and electricity to remote and isolated communities.
• New trends in smart technologies.
• Transitioning to renewable and clean energy.
