'Ripley's Rescue' - Fan Made Theatrical Edit

As you probably know, Horner's score for 'Aliens' was heavily edited (which annoys the composers to no end) and means the 'Ripley's Rescue' you hear on the soundtrack album release isn't the one you hear on screen (a good chunk of it comes from 'Futile Escape' for example) - but, I always kinda liked the screen-version so I cut this 'Theatrical Edit' together for the fun of it.

Not the easiest of edits, there's seven different cues involved, some only lasting a couple of bars and listening to that film section over and over trying to pick out the various cues used with all that wonderful movie mayhem going on occasionally ventured into best-guess work but, I think I got it as accurately as I could make out. Salutations to James Horner for one of the best on screen cues ever, even if it's made up from bits all over the soundtrack album.
